The general rule
Do not use Kwirl to harm, deceive or harass anyone.
This policy sits under the Terms and Conditions and applies to every account. Where a use is not listed but is plainly harmful, deceptive or unlawful, it is a breach.
Prohibited conduct
Fake roles, fake people, scraping, harassment, malware.
- Posting a role that is not genuinely open, or that is a front for a training course, a franchise sale, an unpaid trial, or a multi-level marketing scheme.
- Listing a role without a genuine salary band, or publishing a band you do not intend to honour.
- Impersonating another person, company or recruiter, or creating an account under a false identity.
- Bulk unsolicited messaging, including sourcing messages not tied to a real named role. This engages the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 (NZ).
- Harassment, threats, sexual advances, or contacting a candidate after they have asked you to stop.
- Discriminatory listings or screening on a protected attribute.
- Scraping, crawling, or bulk extraction of profiles, listings or messages by any means, including automated agents.
- Reverse engineering the product, probing security without written authorisation, or bypassing rate limits.
- Uploading malware, or content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes copyright.
- Asking candidates for money, bank details or identity documents through Kwirl messaging.
- Reselling access to a seat, or using one seat for multiple people.
Candidate-specific rules
Your work, honestly described.
Do not present someone else’s work as your own, fabricate employment history, or use a written application you did not review. Kira drafting is fine; passing off another person’s portfolio is not.
Do not apply through an account that is not yours, and do not sell or lend your account to someone else.
Reporting and enforcement
Report it, we act, you can appeal.
Report a listing, message or profile with the report control in the product, or email contact@kwirl.com.au. Reports about safety are triaged within 24 hours.
Depending on severity we may warn, remove content, restrict features, suspend, or permanently close an account. Serious matters — fraud, threats, child safety — are reported to law enforcement.
You can appeal any enforcement decision to contact@kwirl.com.au within 30 days and a different reviewer will look at it.
